@WorstSamaritan The entire history of Europe whitewashes over this. I consider myself a fairly well read person, and until I found one book written by a historian presenting an alternative point of view, I had never heard any of this. The more I looked into it, the more horrified I was.

@WorstSamaritan Centuries of church propaganda has convinced Christian societies that they are the good guys, by suppressing any alternative view. Christianity violently wiped out the entire belief structure of the classical world and then destroyed the evidence.

@HeinzUK hey guys, just had a weird thing happen with a can of my fav cream of chicken soup - when I opened it up, it was the consistency of milk, not thick and creamy at all. Very disappointing. It was a multipack can, so I opened another from the same batch, and same problem

More excitingly though, on the way home I saw a Royal Mail post train heading out from Euston! I didn’t know they still ran. Thought they got withdrawn years ago. I wonder if it’s a climate change thing.

I have my first head cold since the Before Times. I’d forgotten how much stuffy sinuses, a runny nose and sore throat sucked Tis not the covids, I’ve tested 3 times. Just a regular snotty miserable cold. Ugh. I die now.

@helociraptor This is almost, but not quite as bad as my need to get the HZD board game and all the expansions, purely so I can use the miniatures in a mechanical monster D&D games.
