It was great to welcome parents and grandparents to our annual Cafe Conversations today - this year the children showed their technology skills too by sharing all of their learning on Showbie using their Inspire iPads. @inspireSBC @SBCEducation1

We welcomed Michelle and Blair from Garvald today. They led a fantastic lantern making class in P4 & 5. They invite families to their event on Friday. A lantern walk, stories and hot chocolate. A wonderful opportunity to connect closely with our partners at Garvald.

We have a snake in our polytunnel … It’s a huge summer squash also knows as a trombocino snake gourd.

Our Meet the Teacher parent engagement event was a great success this evening with teachers talking about approaches to learning & our HT/ DHT leading a session on school improvement. Thank you to all who were able to attend. #partnershipworking @SBCEducation1

We took advantage of the last of the Scottish summer today on our whole school community walk. Thank you to all of the community members who joined us and kept all of the children moving (and avoiding puddles!). A great time had by all! @SBCEducation1

A great start back to school today for our pupils. A special welcome to all of our new families. It was great to see everyone settle into learning so smoothly. The sunny weather was a definite bonus too.

We look forward to welcoming our staff back to school tomorrow & all of our pupils on Wednesday. Please can all young people come to school with their iPads charged and their PE kit.

What an exceptional evening tonight at our Primary 7 leavers “Under the Sea” themed dance. It was great to see staff past and present in attendance. Thank you to parents and carers for the amazing food and to the class teachers for organising such an amazing event.

In our ELC we have been exploring space. The children have made a space station, rocket ship, telescope for star gazing and even their very own space toilet! We love using our Be Curious learning power.

What an amazing day to raise money for @supportCHAS! Our P7s organised a beat the goalie,silent disco,bouncy castle and partners including the fire service visiting. Thank you to parents, The Knot, the Linton Whipman, Hotspurs and many other amazing organisations for supporting.
