Tomorrow, November 16th is our first day of Spirit Week. We invite all students and staff to dress like a Soccer Mom or BBQ Dad. Students, be sure to submit your points at lunch.

Key Club is holding a can drive this week until November 19th, to benefit the Westfield Food Pantry. In the spirit of Thanksgiving we are looking for donations of non perishable items. Cans and goods will be collected in the school counseling office.

Seniors! Are you interested in traveling, changing your world, and developing your leadership skills? There will be an informational Global Glimpse meeting this Thursday after school in Ms. Desmond’s classroom (room 327) for those interested in applying.

Attention winter sport student-athletes! Free sport physicals will be held at WHS on November 19th from 2-4pm.

Anyone interested in joining the ski team, please come to a preseason meeting on Thursday, November 18th at Westfield High School in room 117 from 5-6pm.

The Key Club is organizing a candy collection for the Treats for Troops Foundation. Bring your unopened candy to the guidance office starting November 1st to November 8th.

Attention Class of 2022! Masquerade tickets are on sale now. You can purchase tickets at all 3 lunches or in room 218 after school. Class dues must be paid in full to attend the dance.

Please make sure you get your money order or cash payment for your Advanced Placement Exams. Payments can be brought to Mrs. Collins in room 325 and they are due on November 1st.

If you’re interested in a career in the medical field or want to learn more about it, join the Future Medical Professionals Club. We meet every Wednesday of the month in room 335. Please contact Ms. Blocher with any questions.

Best Buddies will be having an organizational meeting on Wednesday, October 20th after school until 3pm. We look forward to seeing you all there! For more information about Best Buddies, please see Mrs. Busiere in room 111.

If you’re in need of volunteer hours, or want to do something amazing, join Letters for Rose Club where we make artwork and letters for Nursing Homes. The first meeting will be Oct. 5th in Mrs. Tiskus’s rm. 235 @ 2pm. Contact Mrs. Tiskus with any questions.

The Reshaping Reality Club focuses on mental health, body image, eating disorders and more. If you’re looking for a safe space that supports others please come to room 330 on Wednesday, 9/29 @ 2pm. See Mrs. Satkowski with any questions.

Are you interested in making a difference? Looking for ways to get involved in the community and gain leadership skills? Join the Council on Peer Education! 1st meeting will be Thursday, 9/30 @ 2pm. See Ms Puleo with any questions.

The Westfield YMCA Leaders Club Program will have its first meeting on Wednesday September 22, from 6:30-8:00pm at the YMCA of Greater Westfield. The club provides teens the opportunity to develop skills and make friends. For more information visit ymcanortheastleadersclub.org
