Westmont Warriors Volleyball

Today our Westmont College Volleyball team supported Ceanna O’Loughlin, Jr. OH, as she was baptized at the beach. Thank you Jesus for making today another special day for us all together!

Westmont College Volleyball Head Coach Ruth McGolpin headed to San Diego to play a 40+ volleyball tourney and after 15 games, her team placed second!

Tonight we had the opportunity to celebrate Malia de Jesus, Jr. DS of the Westmont College Volleyball team. She was honored as this year’s volleyball Golden Eagle Award Recipient. She is the epitome of a Warrior!

Tonight’s the wedding of Alexis Dennick, Westmont College Volleyball class of 2026. She is marrying Jackson Thomas, her college sweetheart. These events always make me realize there’s much more to coaching than the X’s and O’s. We love the Dennick’s and could not be more happy!

Another Throwback Thursday moment for the Westmont College Volleyball team and this is the 5 set win against the #1 team in the country in the quarterfinals at the 2019 NAIA National Championships and we were the unranked underdog!

Update on Westmont College VB recruit Sammy Estervig. Yesterday I made a home visit & had the chance to share the love, share some tears, & share my love of setting! Sammy continues to be on the mend & their family continues to be as strong, but continue to pray for them! ❤️🏐

Westmont College Volleyball Head Coach Ruth McGolpin and Assistant Coach Jill Leslie are hitting the road at the Red Rock Rave looking for future Warriors! Who will catch our eye?

Volleyball is in Westmont College Volleyball Head Coach Ruth McGolpin’s blood. Saturday she competed in a 30’s & older volleyball tournament & her team took 3rd. Today she competed in a 45’s & older tournament and her team took 1st. She ran the 5-1 both days & had tons of fun!

As a reminder the Westmont College Volleyball Summer Prospect Camp registration is live with the link here…westmont.edu/prospect-camps… The camp is designed for recruits classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029. Dates are July 10-12, 2026. Who will be the next Warrior?

Westmont College Volleyball is excited to announce the hiring of Assistant Coach Jill Leslie. She is finishing her graduate degree in Organizational Leadership and just finished her career as a MH/OPP at PLNU where she earned 1st Team All PacWest. Welcome to the Warrior family.
