To end the celebrations, teachers swapped classrooms to read to different groups of pupils. It was a lovely way to share new stories, new voices, and a shared love of reading for World Book Day📚✨

A peaceful moment during our World Book Day celebrations. Pupils enjoyed some quiet reading time outside, soaking up the beautiful sunshine while getting lost in their stories. Sometimes the best place to read is under a bright blue sky! ☀️📚

Lots of laughs during this World Book Day challenge! Teachers hid behind their books while pupils tried to guess who was behind each one. The children had great fun making their guesses… now it’s your turn- parents, can you guess who’s behind the book? 📚👀

Pupils got creative while learning the art of character design! Guided by techniques from their favourite books, they practiced drawing characters, turning World Book Day into a fun lesson in bringing stories to life on the page.

Stories leapt off the page as pupils created their own comics for World Book Day. With colourful illustrations and imaginative storylines, the children showed just how powerful creativity and storytelling can be! 💥

Lights, camera, imagination! Pupils stepped into the role of filmmakers for World Book Day, working together to create movie trailers inspired by books they have enjoyed during their primary school journey. From dramatic voices to creative scenes, the results were brilliant!

Our pupils became book detectives for World Book Day, matching clues to the right books! Excitement was high as beloved favourites were discovered around the school.📚🔍

Our staff got into the colourful spirit while celebrating Holi! A little colour, a lot of smiles, and a lovely moment together. 🌈🎨

We are pleased to share that our recent Rags2Riches collection weighed an impressive 331kg and raised £82.78 for the school. Thank you to everyone who contributed. We will have another collection in March 2027!

Gentle welcomes to the chicks as we learn about the life cycle and caring with kindness🐣🌱

We are happy to share that 10 of our chicks have now hatched! 🐣 The children have loved watching them and talking about what they need to grow and stay healthy. This has been a lovely learning experience for the children and they are very excited to see the chicks each day!🐤
