Anyway thats me done arguing for the night. I have never claimed that the Falklands belong to the British or are British. I've always held that they belong to the people who live on the islands. I will forever support self-determination of peoples should they ask for it.

@oroporbaratijas And schoolkids in argentina aren’t taught anything else, it sounds like! First lesson, History (began in 1833), a short lesson on continental shelfs, and then forced to stare at maps of Argentina with the Falklands on there as part of it just to get them angry before home time.

@_glorianas It’d be a purely political stunt. There is no diaspora waiting to return to homes in Port Stanley. At best life stays the same for the Kelpers. At worst they get forcibly deported to a country 13,000km away and their homes and property given to random spaniards.
