@_carmensrose Absolutely not! While legal action would be difficult without substantial evidence, filing a police report isn’t. It also isn’t this person ruining the other people’s lives. They need to report this to authorities so documentation can begin in the event something worse happens.

@calebsrey @eerie_deepspace And something can be dark romance without being every trope in the subgenre. There are several tropes in dark romance that I’m not a fan of, but I will devour some enemies to lovers, obsession, the “I hate everyone but you” antihero stories. Sign me up!

@calebsrey @eerie_deepspace Dark romance focuses on taboo themes (stalker, age gap, guardianship, kidnapping, corruption, NC/DubCon), so my guess is maybe that’s why it’s rejected as his subgenre. Enemies to lovers and mafia romance are the most popular tropes in this subgenre, so I think he fits.

i am not gonna hold anyone's hand when I say this but sylus is straight out of a wattpad fic or the "dark romance" books😭 like he's a mafia? calls mc kitten? and i don't get why it's such a bad thing, dark romance doesn't mean just that one thing, he's not the usual normal ml.
