@JackDaddyyOnIG Past relationships, daddy issues, and yes even colorism could shape his preference. I definitely get that. But his initial post didn’t degrade dark skin, just stated what he’s drawn to, which isn’t inherently negative. The reasoning behind the preference matters

@JackDaddyyOnIG Obviously, there’s a difference between people and food. It was to show that having a positive feeling towards something isn’t inherently negative to the other. He didn’t say anything negative towards dark skin, just a preference towards light skin. That’s the difference.

@JackDaddyyOnIG Personally I’m usually attracted to dark skin men (I’m light skin) that’s my preference, but I like both. Like pancakes vs waffles, I just lean pancakes. The original wasn’t colorist, but “if it ain’t bright it ain’t right” definitely is, and I don’t agree with that.
