@GovTimWalz The best place for people of disabilities to live... Because they're treated like human beings. And more is done in order to make sure they can stay in their own homes. Paid overtime, bonuses, Healthcare and pay aides more than someone cleaning your home etc.

Minnesota has earned a AAA bond rating from Fitch, Moody’s, and Standard & Poor – the highest a state can get. On top of that, our unemployment rates have hit historic lows, inflation is falling, and we’re a top five state for business. A bet against Minnesota is a bad bet.

@DaveRoetman @GovTimWalz Don't make it easy for you to move to a different state, you need to establish residency first, most likely a nursing home for 3/6 months. Then your application for services might be approved.

Exactly one year later, my message stays the same: Under my watch, Minnesota will stay in the business of protecting fundamental rights for all.

@GovTimWalz When you say for all, I don't see speaking too much about the disabled. I'm grateful and many others are too for the wage increase but why are we having to wait 2 years to get it almost to a livable wage in order to be able to safely stay at our home during a health care crisis.

@GovTimWalz Please protect the disabled community too from being forced out of their homes. If they refused to leave or go somewhere temporarily (which it won't be), their guardianship is removed then will have no choice because of the continued caregiver shortages.

True justice for George Floyd will come only through real, systemic, and lasting change in Minnesota. We have more work to do to ensure that every person in Minnesota is safe, valued, and protected. We owe that much to Mr. Floyd, and we owe that much to each other.
