once during critique I was showing my work to the class. Pretty much everyone gave really good advice, except one person. It seemed like she was genuinely trying to be helpful, but the advice she gave was so dogshit that after critique (1/2)

@Whenchewsofret I don't know if it's *exactly* what you're looking for but maybe Slughog? I'd try their album Grit! (Mostly cuz' it's the one I've heard!) Also, Drunkdriver's frontman is now in Uniform if you haven't checked them out yet!!

This is AMAZING.. the songs are quite spacious so they really allow you to bask in these horrible and disgusting atmospheres and textures and it feels so fucking surreal. Kind of like if you locked Yank Crime in a dark room for a year and only fed it clumpy yoghurt.
