VTubers, have you heard of PIPIPEN? 🎨 The next VGEN competitor with a moderated commission process 👀 I discovered this new website for art commissions which has inbuilt & accurate translators to communicate with talented CN artists. I was initially sceptical and tested it with just one comm, but ended up being blown away by the process. A staff member is assigned to your commission with the artist to make sure both parties follow the rules and to make sure there are no miscommunications. That’s bloody fantastic! A huge problem with both artists and clients is having no accountability whatsoever which leads to many commissions going haywire - and even if resolved, the client usually has negative feelings towards the result, IYKYK… Many of the artists are budget friendly and you can snag full blown illustrations for under 100 USD, and fantastic model art and rigs for well under 1k. You can set a price filter when searching! I browsed the artist service page and chose an artist (10948), and got a couples' sketch page for $40. The milestones for this artist were split into: ♡ Deposit > Sketch > Line art > Color draft > Done Each commission step is marked off by both sides and money is only released with your approval. My artist updated me at every step and easily modified any revisions. They were transparent when they said there was a delay, and my artist included a free sketch as the project became overdue! Consider checking out PIPIPEN, especially if you have fallen in love with many kinds of anime/donghua art styles like me! I've attached a preview of what the website looks like if anyone wants to check it out. This may not be the solve-all, as there will always be bad apples & I'm tired of not receiving the art I paid for, but processes like these are a step in the right direction ! ♡ #pipipen #pipipenevent
