🚨🚨🚨 SCOOP: Major development in the cold case disappearance of 17-year-old Victoria Marquina out of San Joaquin County today. Authorities have arrested a man named Joshua Martinez, who was an early suspect in the case was but was released due to a lack of evidence. He now faces a murder charge and statutory rape and other child sex allegations. Victoria was reported missing in October 2019 and hasn't been seen since. Suspect is due in court at 1:30 p.m. PT, and San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas will hold a press conference afterward with officials from Amador County and the U.S. Marshals Service.

On May 18, 2025, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers from the 35th District responded to a report of a critical injury crash in the 4800 block of North Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to investigators, the driver of a gray 2007 Cadillac CTS was traveling northbound on Broad Street when an unidentified female pedestrian was reportedly standing in the roadway. As the vehicle approached, the woman stepped directly into the path of the vehicle. Emergency crews with the Philadelphia Fire Department transported the woman to Einstein Medical Center, where she was admitted in critical condition. Now, in March 2026, nearly a full year later, this woman remains hospitalized and has still not been identified. Somewhere, someone may be missing her. Someone may recognize her face but not realize she has been lying in a hospital bed all this time. Police are hoping the public can help give her back her name.
