Everything in life is marked up, you just get to choose what brand you want to listen to and support. Don’t over think it, the shoes on your feet, especially all you Nike lovers, the car you drive, the food you eat. ALL of it.

Very general naivety on running a business in general in this space is all it comes down to. 90% of people think they know the price of a unit which is usually wrong anyways and then think you’re “doubling” your money is laughable. I agree even on loose white label. Doesn’t matter who I have gotten a bag from and no matter the cost only 14-14.5 ounces out of the 16 are breakdown into a bag worthy the rest is QC or samples in orders that were deemed too small to pack. You got shipping costs ,losses you have to eat or split with suppliers. Refunds or replacements.

It’s such a terrible straw man statement too. just completely ignores all the other realities of the cost that goes into a branded pack. Jars, graphic design cost, spot embossed labels, potentially driving all across the state sourcing the packs, rent for an office to have the packs at, and if prepackaged: labor for packaging team, 10+% in losses to smalls/larf. Not including the occasional loss getting the drops where they need to be.
