@deanrayson @leeds_centre Give the lad some credit he has come up with some important goals & was pretty much the only player who showed up when we played Shampton in the play off final but yeah I do think we will move him on before next season as long as we don't lose Okafor despite my doubts about him

@kevinmousley @Thamescarper @oneguyh @henrywinter I would rate us as on par with each other & both clubs draw their own fan base from working class backgrounds who have a solid hard core loyal fan base but it only takes a couple of seasons without promotion for that fan base to start declining then with that comes the rot

@Thamescarper @oneguyh @henrywinter I like Leeds. They need to be a top flight team. I Made a x4 ( radio) doc about them 27 years ago, the last time they were a force, largely a basket case since, like we are now. But we're still bigger certainly in terms of support and media footprint, I'd say.

What happens if West Ham go down? To Fernandes, Summerville and Bowen? To Nuno? To balance of power between Sullivan and Kretinsky, to LS gates and to revenue including the massive hit to TV money? #WHUFC fans - and their excellent FAB - been asking these questions and more 1/2

@oneguyh @henrywinter Your making it sound too Rosey there are a couple of clubs who are relegation specialists, but for other clubs it can mean years in the wilderness whilst dodgy buyers come in & rape the heart out of the club you've supported as a kid & the players who kissed the badge dump you

@henrywinter Bigger clubs than West Ham have gone down, returned and thrived after. Hopefully it gives them the boardroom reset that the fans deserve, great club with great history and tradition.

Roberto De Zerbi has been at Spurs 35 days. Four games in, and absorbing injuries, his team has developed. RDZ has quickly seen that he has got players to engage in a more mobile and consistent press. More of a fighting spirit. A fit Joao Palhinha is invariably a leader, always a fighter. Paired with Rodrigo Bentancur, Palhinha gives Spurs some steel and streetwise nous in midfield. Patrolling right central midfield, Palhinha has the positional intelligence to cover for Pedro Porro. RDZ used Palhinha from the bench in his first three games and then start against Aston Villa and he was immense, a warrior, and surely starts the rest of the run-in. RDZ has gone for experience in midfield (his own area as a player). Conor Gallagher, 26yo, 300+ games, chased Villa all over. Interesting to see how/when RDZ blends in younger talents like the whole-hearted Archie Gray, who has given everything in a difficult season, and the stylish Lucas Bergvall. Spurs have a €30m option to buy Palhinha from Bayern Munich. He’s 31 this summer. Stick or twist? What is clear is how much RDZ enthuses Spurs players already. His expressive behaviour in the dug-out may annoy officials (one sighed on hearing of his return to PL) but sends a message to players of the need for high energy. Performance against Villa was impressive. They just have to maintain this level of intensity. #THFC

@afneil You don't run a navy down within 2 years of taking power it's been going on longer than that. The writing was on the wall when the Ark Royal was decommissioned with no new ship built to keep the historic name alive. It was Leeds adopted ship after we raisied 9 million in 1941

Reports today that the Royal Navy — you know, the one that ruled the waves — now down to five frigates. Some of which already have commitments. So we cannot provide a carrier fleet for our aircraft carriers, who have their own problems. A national disgrace in which Tory, Labour and even the pathetic Lib Dems are complicit.

US troops are not in Germany to protect Germany. They’re there because the US needs bases to conduct operations beyond the North American continent. If Trump withdraws them, he will harm the United States, not Germany. It’s absurd how many Americans fail to grasp this.

Maybe some of the flag waving Americans sat in their armchairs who watch you go to war need to understand your experience

@Strandjunker @coastalmom11 When I was injured in the ME I was evacuated to Ramstein airbase in Germany for treatment and stabilization. We’re going to lose a lot of people if they have to bleed all the way back to the US.

You can't win a war using aircraft carriers as a base to attack from, it needs re supplying any enemy would simply cut off the supply routes & your carrier fleet becomes a lame duck! You don't even have enough working toilets on them!

@footyawayday Fair play to them as I was at the match last night & With the M62 closed it was a nightmare journey home to Morecambe for me, & my team had won 3-1 so their journey home after a big lose must of felt longer back to Burnley
