We were pleased to welcome @Mayor_MEA Councillor William McCaughey to the club yesterday to meet some of our new Juniors and other club members. The Mayor joined an outing to Blackhead Lighthouse after a brief lesson on the erg. Thanks for the support of the Mayor and @mea_bc

Crews getting ready in Brown’s Bay for the Islandmagee Challenge which will kick off at 1pm. Good luck to our crews and the visiting Co Down clubs as they row the 10 miles to Whitehead.

Our local coastline will be alive with activity tomorrow as we host the ‘Islandmagee Challenge’. Our 3 crews will compete against clubs from Co Down for the best time in completing a 10-mile route from Browns Bay (1pm) to Whitehead(2.30pm ish). Feel free to come cheer us on!

During lockdown, we have been rowing virtually around the world using @Concept2UK rowing machines. Heres our trip to Iceland. Thanks to @mea_bc for the grant support to help us purchase 2 additional Ergs for the club
