@HullCityKits I think you’re right about the crew neck being a rejected training top. I’ve still got two of the version they did release, which used a very small cut of material from the home shirt. Shame they didn’t release both.

Prototypes of the 1995-97 change shirt by Super League suggest that white as a contrast tone and a crew neck with inset V and a centralised crest were considered. It's possible the crew neck was a proposed training/warm up top I suppose. #hcafc

Bad day at the office. It happens. West Brom deserved to be ahead, and the soft red card killed it as a contest. The speed some of our ‘fans’ turn on lads who’ve been brilliant all season annoys me more than it probably should. #hcafc

Between the release of the 1998/99 away shirt worn here by Gregor Rioch and match use, there was a slight tweak made, but can you identify it? #hcafc

@HullCityKits If I were deliberately trying to get a game called off, of all the easy options available I’d definitely choose one that was still touch and go until 20 minutes before kick-off.

To summarise... the club used brooms and elbow grease, a tractor, heat lamps and a blowtorch, but some believe Hull City did nowt to make sure the game went ahead? OK.

100% agree with this. I don’t think it crossed anyone’s mind at City that there would be a problem once the pitch was deemed fine, until the ref arrived. Undeniably poor from the club, but no foul play. Totally understand why Watford fans would suspect otherwise though. #hcafc

Disappointing not to win but not a disaster. I’m old fashioned but if you are losing twice away from home, whoever you are playing, can’t complain at a point. Thought ref was poor but had a few go our way recently so that’s how it goes. Still better than having VAR. #hcafc
