@imrana_usman01 @LauraLoomer @TuckerCarlson Sitting in her bedroom telling lies. What lie? What is the lie? Is the video a lie? Is it a lie that there are Islamic terrorists in Nigeria? Is it a lie that Christians are being targeted and killed? Is it a lie that Christians are being killed for blasphemy? Where is the lie?

@Whizdomtalks @LauraLoomer @TuckerCarlson But the terrorist themselves lied by justifying their actions, does that make it valid? Stop trying to pain black white... I'm a Nigerian Muslim and a victim of those monsters in 2012... I know what I saw, but she was sitting right in her bedroom telling lies and you fall for it

Remember when @TuckerCarlson said the genocide of Christians in Nigeria by ISIS and Boko Haram was made up and not real? Well, here is a video that is circulating in Nigeria this week. Boko Haram recently released this video telling all Christians in northern Nigeria to convert to Islam or die. In the video they say they are “fighting for prophet Mohammed”, and warned Christians to “convert or you will be killed.” They are saying “this is the teaching of the Prophet Mohammed.” Your daily reminder that Tucker is not as Christian as he pretends to be. I wonder when he recited the Shahada?

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Tucker Carlson's "expert" on Nigerian Christians worked for a top defender of the Fulani Islamist militias killing Christians. The Tucker Carlson guest on Friday who slammed @tedcruz and declared that there is no campaign of targeted killings of Christians in Nigeria, lobbyist and PR flack Robert Amsterdam, had for years represented a leading Nigerian official closely associated with Fulani Islamists — including the very militias that have been slaughtering Christians in Nigeria. Robert Amsterdam, feted by Carlson as "defending Christians around the world," represented Nasir El-Rufai, who from 2015 to 2023 was the governor of the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna, home to the bulk of Fulani Islamist militias that have slaughtered thousands of Christians. While serving as Kaduna's governor, El-Rufai directed substantial payments to those very same Fulani Islamists (by his own admission), and he ordered numerous crackdowns that reportedly resulted in the murders of more than 100 Christians. El-Rufai has also contributed to the ongoing vilification and demonization of Nigeria's Christians, such as claiming in 2014 that Christians "sponsor[ed]" Boko Haram with the "motive of... tarnish[ing] the name of Islam." (Receipts below.) In 2012, three years before becoming governor of Kaduna, El-Rufai tweeted a veiled threat to Nigerian soldiers attempting to thwart the murderous campaigns carried out by Fulani Islamists, "Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes." (Screenshot below.) Three years later, El-Rufai touted his endorsement from Fulani Islamists (a broader Muslim ethnic group in Nigeria whose leaders have supported implementation of Sharia law) when he successfully ran for governor. El-Rufai also reinstated the Religious Preaching Edict, which meant that all Christian pastors required prior approval from the Kaduna government before each sermon, otherwise they "will be liable to pay a fine, and may even be imprisoned," in El-Rufai's own words. Both Tucker and Amsterdam cited the latter's work on behalf of various Nigerian entities as the basis for his expertise to refute claims by Trump, Cruz and many others that Christians are being systematically murdered by Fulani Islamists. Although he didn't disclose in the Tucker Carlson interview his work for a leading defender of the Fulani Islamists, Amsterdam stated in 2018 on his website that he "has represented" El-Rufai, the "Governor of Kaduna State." Because Amsterdam never registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act for any Nigerian entity, the exact nature and duration is unknown. (Amsterdam could not be immediately reached for comment.) There is no record of Amsterdam ever representing, protecting, and/or defending persecuted Nigerian Christians, and his X profile does not show even a single post warning about the attacks carried out by Fulani Islamists. Yet this is the man Tucker Carlson used to refute claims of Nigerian Christians being systematically slaughtered at the hands of Fulani Islamists.

Rochas Okorocha was once the darling of the southeast. He was a big philanthropist, funding free education ventures all over Nigeria, using his position with the Red Cross to solve a lot of problems Then he decided to contest for the position of governor of Imo state Everyone in the southeast was so happy about this, especially as he was contesting on the platform of APGA. Finally, he would have the power to translate his philanthropy into real, sustainable policies. He was so so loved. In 2011, Imo state burnt Ohakim to get him into power. Just like everyone prayed, he started his tenure like a man on fire. Projects were springing up everywhere. Roads were opening up through literal forests. Hospitals were springing up. School projects were kicking off. What happened next? In 2013, he decided to join the APC. That's where everything started to fall apart. You see, with ndị Igbo, we can see from a mile away when you've already made the wrong move, and we can see from a distance just how it would play out. He was warned, but he wouldn't listen. Well, he won his reelection on the platform of the APC in 2015, and that's where the issues began. Rochas Okorocha, the governor, became a stark contrast of Rochas Okorocha, the widely loved philanthropist. Who led his chant for his head? Ndị Igbo. Who turned their backs on him when the APC that we warned him about finally burned him? Ndị Igbo. You see, in Igbo language, we have many idioms. Some of them are: - Ọkụkọ ntị ike ya-a nụ ịfe n'ite ofe (the stubborn fowl will finally heed advise in a pot of soup) - A na-a gwalior nwata nee efi nee efi, ọ sị na ọrọ efi, nọ nzọ ụkwụ efi (when you try to alert a child to a rapidly approaching herd of cows, the child will disagree and say it just sounds like footsteps of cows) - Asọkalịa eze anya, ekpulu nkata n'ihu gwa ya okwu (when everyone is scared to look the king in the face and tell him the truth, some day, someone will wear a basket on their head and do it) - Alụsị kpakalịa ike, e gosi ya osisi e si wee pịa ya (when a deity does too much, the people it is supposed to serve will show it the tree from which it was carved) Do with this information as you wish

A country where this happens regularly without repercussions is a failed state. If we can't collectively reject a government that allows this to go on freely, we live amongst fools in the society. There is really no "nuance" to this — this is a failed state, end of discussion.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE PRESS STATEMENT FALSE ALLEGATION OF HIDDEN SPENDING AND DIVERSION OF FEDERATION REVENUE The attention of the Federal Ministry of Finance has been drawn to recent media reports and commentaries that misrepresent the findings of the latest Nigeria Development Update by the World Bank, particularly claims suggesting that a significant portion of federation earnings is being “diverted” or constitutes “hidden spending.” These interpretations misrepresent the World Bank’s analysis and reflect a misunderstanding of the fiscal system. MISINTERPRETATION OF FAAC DEDUCTIONS The misreporting in question incorrectly characterises Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) deductions as “waste” or missing funds. This is incorrect. FAAC deductions, as presented in the World Bank report, include: Statutory transfers, Savings and investments, Security-related expenditures, Cost-of-collection charges, Refunds to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Transfers and interventions benefiting subnational governments. It is important to emphasise that refunds and transfers to states and other tiers of government are not leakages. They represent legitimate fiscal flows, including repayments of obligations and statutorily backed allocations. SELECTIVE USE OF OUTDATED DATA Some commentaries selectively relied on past data while ignoring the forward-looking analysis and ongoing public financial management reforms highlighted in the report. The World Bank explicitly notes that reforms implemented in early 2026, including the recently signed Executive Order to safeguard remittance of petroleum revenues, are already addressing concerns around deductions, and are expected to improve transparency while increasing revenues available to all tiers of government by about 0.4% of GDP annually. Misinterpreting one aspect of the analysis without acknowledging the progressive reforms and measures already introduced to enhance distributable federation revenues gives a distorted picture. STRONGER MACROECONOMIC FUNDAMENTALS The broader message of the World Bank report is positive and forward-looking: Economic growth is becoming more broad-based across sectors. Inflation, while still elevated, is declining due to deliberate policy actions. Nigeria’s external position has strengthened significantly, with improved reserves and a current account surplus. Debt indicators have improved, including a decline in the debt-to-GDP ratio, the first in over a decade. These developments reflect the outcomes of the current administration's ongoing macroeconomic policies and public financial management reforms. THE REAL MESSAGE OF THE REPORT The World Bank does not conclude that Nigeria’s fiscal system is collapsing or that reforms have failed. Rather, it states that reforms are working, and they must be sustained and deepened to translate macroeconomic gains into inclusive growth. CONCLUSION The Federal Government remains committed to strengthening fiscal transparency, improving revenue mobilisation, ensuring efficient public spending, and deepening reforms to support inclusive economic growth. An accurate understanding and responsible reporting of fiscal information are critical to maintaining confidence in Nigeria’s reform trajectory and economic outlook. We urge stakeholders, media organisations, and the public to engage constructively with fiscal information and avoid twisted interpretations that may undermine reform efforts and fuel public discord. Signed Taiwo Oyedele Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Federal Republic of Nigeria April 19, 2026

Peter Obi to Goodluck Jonathan at the 2nd Niger Bridge flag-off in 2014: “This shouldn’t be inside a tent. The people this project is for should be here to see it.” A reminder that governance is meant to be seen, felt, and owned by the people, not hidden behind closed spaces. Not a celebration—a moment for the people.

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT TURKEY & ISLAMIC TERRORISM IN NIGERIA THAT MANY PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT. But I will tell you. You see yesterday, news broke that Nigeria was to send 200 special forces personnel to Turkey for advanced military training. And naturally many people had questions. Why Turkey? And they are right to ask that question. I will explain. Nigeria has been fighting Islamic terrorists like Bokoharam for decades. Then the Nigerian government in 2026, chooses to send its military to train in a country that has been accused is sponsoring Islamic Terrorists for decades, including in Nigeria. Do you see why many people would be concerned? Some might say they are nothing but accusations. But when too many different people keep accusing you of the same thing, there is usually something fishy going on. But stay with me. Let me tell you about some of those "accusations" that you may not have heard about and you can Judge for yourself. 1. Boko Haram —Nigeria : Alleged supply of sophisticated weapons via Turkish Airlines (2014 audio, resurfaced 2019) Turkey, via Turkish Airlines, allegedly shipped advanced weapons and ammunition to Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria. Critics labeled Turkey a “terrorist state” for this. The claim centers on a leaked audio recording from March 2014 ; part of a larger Turkish corruption scandal leaks. In the recording, Mehmet Karatas; then assistant executive at Turkish Airlines, allegedly tells Mustafa Varank; a top Erdogan advisor, later Industry Minister, about the arms shipment to Nigeria. Karatas is heard expressing guilt, asking: “I don’t know whether these weapons will kill Muslims or Christians.” The audio was first leaked in 2014 but gained new traction in November 2019 when Egyptian TV channel Ten.tv aired it in a report accusing Turkey of arming Boko Haram. The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and other outlets amplified it. On November 25–26, 2019, Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters (DHQ) publicly confirmed it was investigating the allegations at the highest strategic level, calling it a serious national security issue. The DHQ stated that it was probing the claims of Turkish-supplied sophisticated weapons to Bokoharam. Turkish Airlines immediately denied the 2014 claims, Stating it “does not carry arms cargo to countries where there is a lack of authority and clashes". "or to countries where arm imports are banned by the United Nations Security Council" An investigation was publicly announced by the Nigerian Military in November 2019, but no conclusion was ever released to the public. Guess who was the president of Nigeria in 2019. 2. Al-Shabaab (Al-Qaeda affiliate in Somalia): Alleged MIT transfer of $600,000 in 2012 Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) allegedly funneled $600,000 to the Somali terrorist group Al-Shabaab between September and December 2012. The money was reportedly transferred via a Turkish operative (and his brother) who later became linked to Al-Qaeda. A January 21, 2019, investigation by Nordic Monitor, reported that U.S. Treasury intelligence shared with Turkish authorities, Identified Turkish citizen İbrahim Sen; a MIT-linked figure, as the operative. Sen and his brother were accused of making the transfers. Sen had previously been involved in MIT-coordinated recruitment for jihadist groups in Syria. Turkish financial crimes investigators (MASAK) looked into it but allegedly found no banking records and closed the probe. Critics called this a cover-up ordered by the Erdogan government. A follow-up 2020 Nordic Monitor report (based on a leaked classified MASAK document).. Claimed President Erdogan personally intervened to hush up the investigation into Al-Shabaab financiers operating in Turkey. No official Turkish admission or detailed denial of this specific claim appears in public records. 1/2.
