A superb performance by Bob this evening. He managed to not only execute perfectly his Rough and Rowdy Ways album (sadly with the sole exception of Murder Most Foul) but also breathe new life into the half dozen older tracks he played, not least All Along The Watchtower).

I’m at the RAH once again. Hard to believe that this is the same venue where Dylan finished his infamous tour of ‘66, during which he outraged fans by playing an electric set. He shrugged off the call of “Judas” earlier at Manchester and simply told his band to “play it loud”.

@Top10Nathan I love this record. You're right that it's absolutely bonkers. But it has some really poignant moments as well. Listen to Treasure, for instance. It breaks my heart a little every time I hear it.

#NowPlaying The Cure - Wild Mood Swings I did not have high hopes for this. I've heard very few positives. But I really enjoyed it. It's different, it's quite happy, it's absolutely bonkers. It's no masterpiece. It's not in their top five. But it's a brave and joyous record.
