This has been one of the most "you're kidding me" stories I've ever worked on. But it happened – and is happening – around the UK.
Women in the UK are being denied healthcare because they're 'virgins' 🧵

@AllisonDeDecker @gabethedoogle @zachbrown1213 @Esqueer_ Birth control is not JUST for preventing pregnancy. I took it as a teen so I wouldn’t be vomiting every month from pain and cramps. It is medical care.

@kaeyabootlicker People are shipping Gorou and Miko even when he’s made it obvious he’s afraid of her?

I'm just a little concerned about the idea of applying the term "terrorist" to people who aren't actually calling for violence. Seems like without some very firm parameters it could open the door to equating criticism w/terrorism
English

@laurimar @Esqueer_ Ah, well, in that case- it would be incredibly difficult to prove this in court, I haven’t found an example of someone being convicted. You’d have to show a direct connection between what someone has been saying and violent attacks on a certain group. Which is hard, because (1/)

@DancingRos48 @emanzi @RevJacquiLewis Only if you ignore how that doesn’t apply with businesses or any public service besides a church, even when hosting public events and despite being considered for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

@WhyDottoreHot @emanzi @RevJacquiLewis Hence the “no one has the right to force their needs on someone”, when they can go elsewhere for their needs
English

@DancingRos48 @emanzi @RevJacquiLewis I never said I thought most churches did this. It’s the fact they legally *can*.
English

@WhyDottoreHot @emanzi @RevJacquiLewis You’re right. You won’t convince me. You’re using emotional outrage to conflate issues. You’re generalizing what a few do, with the whole group.
