With all our games and $SOLPUMP token we've kept our transparency since day one and wanted to write an update regarding todays events. As some of you may have noticed the drastic price action today of $SOLPUMP, we wanted to announce and explain what happened. Our treasury wallet, Fc5qVt9hhSLyu1UjvX7ssyRd2RuZNMR8BuxrMBVWYdfN, was compromised this morning by this solana wallet: 9KvZ4NVNomyYAg9RBb1UYAby2BapG2FPaDXqnE7qAy8B. The treasury wallet is acts as a hot wallet for day to day $SOLPUMP token claims along with holding funds for our buy & burn mechanism. The wallet holds small portion of player token allocation at any given time, and due to an exploit allowed the wallet to claim 2,950,000.32 $SOLPUMP tokens (~72k) and 86.5 $SOL (~7.2k) out of thin air. This user then sold all of the tokens on the open market, causing that drastic drop. We've since identified the issue, and pushed fixes so this will never occur again. We have added additional security measures in place to ensure that significant amounts are never in the hot wallet and because of this nothing drastic like this will occur again in the future. Additionally, to set things right, we are removing the amount stolen from our team supply and burning tokens to make up for the event.
