The Am Staff was suppose to be it's SHOW representative.
The Am Bully was suppose to be it's complete companion counter with a thicker body/structure, less driven temperment.
Today they are all 3 seperate breeds

When being told that "Am Staff is still shown as APBT under the ADBA". Incorrect. They have recognized Am Staff and Am Bully as their own individual breeds since 2015, HOWEVER (😤)- pause to read video-.

@rawdawg7 This is why the Am Staff has 5 major known bloodlines, APBT has dozens of lines and then in the 90s, the companion style was suppose to be the Am Bully which was why it was registered under APBT, only for the dogs to be bred so far away from APBT, it too became its own breed.

@rawdawg7 Yes. Until 75 when the AKC shut the stud books which has modernly solidified the Am Staff AS ITS OWN BREED based off of HOW THE DOGS WERE BRED because they were to be showing and sporting, NOT preserved for fighting.

@rawdawg7 The UKC was the first KC club (registry) created using the APBT by Z Bennet to which the AKC 41 years later would look to in regards to having their own registered "pit bulls".
Which utilized primarily colby dogs- Primo being the most well known OF those handful.

@rawdawg7 You are also aware I'm not offended by the history or the modern of the dogs and that the kennel clubs (REGISTRIES) between ukc and adba were created to preserve the working dog IE APBT in its function hence their sanctioning of dog fights for preservation. 😐

@WhySoSerious06 😂 😂 . The word “pit “ refers to a 4 corner wall , where Dogfighting takes place. The ADBA was formed in 1909 . By Mr Feeley ( who was a Dogfighter). He was friends with John P Colby ( A Dogfighter) .
