I make pre-new year's resolutions starting in Sept. Something about the end of summer & beginning of fall. One of them: take more walks more often to observe life outside of my recording booth! Saw these on a walk around Manhattan. Beautiful sign of the new season.

HAPPY #NationalPetDay to all pets & their people! Tye-Dye is pictured lounging on his new bone-afidely soft blanket. As for the howling, I don't believe that Tye is a VO artist wannabe. You see, he always howls whenever he receives a gift that he is especially pleased with.

This #voiceoverartist is tickled purple! My newly purple-ized eco-friendly recording studio is almost complete. Opted for a diamond accent wall. The booth needed a bit of tweaking sound-wise, so my husband built an acoustic panel, covering it in a floral fabric. Flooring to come.

I learn from my son every single day. After conquering the "New Hampshire 48," he decided to give ice climbing a try. I mean, why the heck not?! Here’s to embracing new challenges, taking calculated risks and enjoying every minute of our adventures, whatever they might be.

My husband found these purple eco-friendly acoustic tiles (a richer color in real life) and said he'd treat my booth with them! Subway tile-like pattern on 2 walls and then we'll have an accent wall with purple and black. Here's the beginning of my pleasantly purple sanctuary...
