I have personally been guilty of underappreciating life and making decisions that damaged relationships and burned bridges. Losing close friends and colleagues prematurely has had a profound effect on me, and the emotional strain of these experiences is rarely discussed.

It is unrealistic to expect everyone to have their life perfectly planned out by their 20s. This period is typically defined by trial and error, and limited responsibility. Nevertheless, the 20s are a time for creating lifelong experiences.
