In Britain, this kind of public exhibition is unique to Muslims. Sikhs, Jews, Hindus and Christians in Britain have always positioned their faith as a personal and private matter. It is acknowledgement that faith is not a tool to be forced on others, especially against their consent; it is acknowledgment of our open and libertarian consenting British culture. If Muslims want a place here with us in Britain and to be accommodated and accepted our open and libertarian culture, with all its traditions, must be adopted. In a Muslim country everyone has to conform with Muslim cultural behaviours; for example, in some countries women are expected to cover up. The same expectation exists in Britain, where conformity is about being open and libertarian. To do otherwise is an expression of enmity towards the British. It is a rejection of our freedoms. It leads to rejection by us of Islamic behaviours in our public space. They cannot have it both ways where on one hand, they say "we reject your way of life and your freedoms", while on the other hand they say "we want to be accepted as British Muslims". They are not and never will be British Muslims unless they adapt to and adopt British cultural behaviours in our public space. They are Muslims who reject being British. And that is what is truly divisive and combative.

There is no personal Union, the Scottish Crown is revokable, plus conditional on the Scottish oath and covenant with the Community of the Realm. The English Crown is the body of the Monarch, non-revokable, and requires no agreement constitutionally. There has been no Scottish monarch since the 28th April 1707. It's not helpful to your point if you simply accept English constitutional principles which are only "common sense" in the first place because Scotland was annexed in 1707. I fully support a Scottish Republic but not on the basis of some spurious argument that has no basis in evidenced fact.

When are people going to get it. A tiny portion of people gave a shit what consenting adults did in the privacy of their own home and that’s still the case. Fatigue towards LGBTQI+ has spiked because the movement shifted from a live & let live type of thing to mandatory celebration and institutional capture. Pride went from a one day event to a month long corporate/education/media blitz with rainbows everywhere from kids books to beer cans. It’s like the state itself is completely captured by it when you see almost every state building flying the rainbow cult flag and sometimes not a tricolor in sight. Many companies scaled back due to the public pushback because of the fatigue the public are feeling from it all. Remember bud light. The expansion of LGB to include the TQI+ brought many highly contested issues with it like puberty blockers, mutilating youth surgeries, self-ID, and fluid identities that are more cult like & ideological than just tolerant. For example, hidden within the + is something called MAP (minor attracted person). It's not sudden bigotry it's pushback against overreach when neutrality gets labeled hate, and everything demands affirmation (especially for kids), people resent the coercion & constant propaganda. At this point, most regular people are completely burned out from it all and that’s not even to mention the same coercive propaganda being hammered out day after day after day about diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice 😥😥
