We are excited to be hosting the @Wigant20 Bash Finals Day this Sunday. We welcome all from across the Wigan Cricketing community and beyond to this showcase event. We also hope that our own spectators and members as well as those from our own local community will come along too. Detailed information about the day has been sent to all participating clubs. Here are a few details about the day for Spectators: Catering The bar in the club will be open all day serving our quality refreshments at affordable prices. Besides this, there will be three catering vans located on the Car Park: Crust N Slice- serving delicious Wood Fired Pizzas (their menu is attached to this post for pre-ordering if you wish) Truly Scrumptious Catering- serving quality burgers, hot dogs, fries etc Berties Coffee Cart- serving a range of Coffees and exquisite cakes to excite the taste buds Car Parking On site parking will be VERY limited on the club car park due to the catering vans. There will be additional parking available on St. Francis Church Car Park (next to the ground) from 12.30pm onwards but please avoid parking on there before then as they have a morning Mass. There is however plenty of alternative parking available in the local area including: • On the shopping precinct over the road and the car park next door to this • Large car park adjacent to Selkirk Grove at the top of Montrose Avenue • On Norley Road (enter from the Montrose Avenue side, park adjacent to the club perimeter fencing and walk round to the club via City Road) There is also on street parking available on residential roads within easy walking distance of the ground. However, please be respectful of our neighbours and don’t block driveways etc Seating We do have a decent amount of outdoor seating around the ground. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own seating such as camping chairs for around the ground. The weather forecast looks good for Sunday so here is to a successful day that showcases local cricket as well as our own fantastic club which we are all very proud of.
