It is hard to believe that Labour is even considering paying £1bn a year to the EU. Has everyone forgotten that we buy more from them than they do from us, and have done ever since we joined the Common Market? If anything, they should be paying us! (Actually they shouldn’t. Free trade should be just that, free)And our exports to them post Covid are broadly on trend for pre-Brexit levels.
