Prior to our match today we took a 2 minutes silence and wore black ribbon is respect for the Queens passing. First pre season friendly went well against Keswick! Some good hockey played end to end! Wigton ended up taking a 3-0 win! Well done ladies 🤩

In line with Government Restrictions, Wigton Rugby Club are looking to reopen in mid-April, providing an outdoor drinking area Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday Afternoons. We would love to hear if this is something the local community would be interested in. (1/2)

Lots of goals netted today! Ladies 1’s and 2’s both came away with 11-0 wins against Dalston and Kendal 2’s and the men travelled to Fylde 2’s and drew 3-3 in an exciting end to end game. All three teams positioned in the top 3 at the mo! Well done all! 🏑🏑💚💚

We have to follow the guidance given by All England hockey and as of today all hockey associated with Wigton Hockey Club is suspended Training, matches and tournaments. I know it's not what we all wanted but we have to follow the guidance. Take care and keep safe all. WHC 💚
