One of our contributors took photos of the remnants of munitions in Tsyrkuny, near the front line north of Kharkiv, Ukraine. We cannot identify the model of the weapon, however. So, we are asking for help in weapon identification here.

@Osint613 @war24182236 Are you complaining about clean needles? Its to stop the spread of HIV and other diseases. Would you rather own the libs and let infections skyrocket in the city?

🇮🇱🇺🇦 Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar implies Ukraine should be grateful for “Israeli support”: It’s a bit surprising coming from a country that we supported in international forums, supported in so many ways, including humanitarian help… But probably this is life.

@StaunchGrimoire @andfogle I wrote the book in the tweet you replied to My source itself is citing other sources but I dont believe they all come from the same region. And this makes sense; in a modern war, 10 people dying is not a large portion of society. In a society of 100 people, it is huge.

@WikiOsint @andfogle While the data is valuable I have to question if this is verifiable as a statement toward neolithic ritual war or if the case of the Yanomamo was specific to the nature of their feud and politics. I think there needs to be more than one case to make it the latter

@TubaToofpaste @andfogle OP said it was more civilized, thats arguable. My point isnt against that, more so that the impact on society was greater, but you both could have a strong argument for which is more civilized.

sweii 🇮🇷🇵🇫@SweiiZen

@rozpersian I am against executions whatever country they take place. But you absolutely can’t compare how they’re brought in the US and in Iran. My uncle also was executed. Our country is the sole were every iranian you meet had close family executed/sexually assaulted/imprisoned…

@ATweetsPour @andfogle This is one event in the 2019 protest. You obviously were not following events given that you dont know this. I wont continue this, you clearly will not admit that you people knew the islamic republic would use force and still encouraged street protests.

@WikiOsint @andfogle They never mowed down people with heavy machine guns loaded on trucks. They never showed the level of evil they showed this time. Use of force has assumed a new definition since jan2026

@locolatiy Iranians chose 1357 and chose to support pahlavis call for war in iran. Both mistakes. To say that all foreigners need to not have a voice because theyre not Iranian is assuming that iranians are some super wise unified entity, which they clearly are not. Outside input is good.

Leave it to a white person with zero root or relation in Iran, to use the most difficult and conflicting times for Iranians worldwide — and reduce it to a cheap “gotcha” point. Tone deaf bitchboy.

No, that would be thanks to the “war” crowd. It was ‘abundantly’ clear before this military operation started that the pieces simply were not in place to remove the Ulema’s government in Tehran, as every serious actor carefully tried to point out. The ‘largest’ absent piece fell pretty squarely on the shoulders of the politically active Iranian (specifically Persian) ex-patriate crowd. Instead of just ‘talking’ about overthrowing Tehran, and ‘asking’ third-party militaries to do that (let alone pleading with Iranians in Iran to “throw off their shackles” or whatever), the ex-patriate community needed to start collecting volunteers and ‘training’ a force to participate in a ground campaign alongside said third-party militaries. That simply did not happen. The only Iranian expat community that was even partially ready to participate in “liberation” or whatever, and to do the hard things, were Iran’s expat Kurds and Balochs, and they quite frankly did not have the numbers required to accomplish anything like this on their own.

@andfogle Ya buddy hindsight is 20/20. So you knew there’d be machine guns mowing down people when he said come to the streets and you didn’t share your wisdom for 5 days? You can claim “wisdom” when it leads to “leadership” not just nagging people. Have you ever held a leadership role?

@AndrewGhalili You advocated for the air campaign without any actual objectives. Not once did you accept that iran needed an on the ground organization, not just your social media posts. And now you are sad that war is over. You will now end up discarded in the dustbin of history.

NUFDI spent the past months amplifying Iranians’ voices and advocating for a free Iran. That obviously includes talking/appealing to those on the right, I can’t fathom why it wouldn’t considering who the president is. I’ve also met with most democratic congressional offices. Kaveh and his ilk meanwhile spent the past months trash-talking and creating divisions because they have personal issues with the Prince or his team. Success for Kaveh is now getting to say “I told you so” to those of us that have tried to get the U.S. to support the Iranian people. He’s said it prematurely so many times now I’ve lost count. So congrats to him on his great successes with all his nonexistent dignity. NUFDI will continue fighting for Iranians though.
Kaveh Shahrooz کاوه شهروز@kshahrooz

Andrew, his bosses at NUFDI, and their ultimate boss Reza Pahlavi traded their dignity to get noticed by Trump. No far right convention they didn't attend, no MAGA hat they didn't wear, no Trumpist ass they didn't kiss. And for their service, they're disposed of like used Kleenex.

What’s left unsaid by Reza Pahlavi’s team — and Saeed is one of his top advisors — is what is required to get their guy into power. They always skip over that and jump right into Pahlavi being a transitional leader. No talk of a mechanism, no talk of the realities on the ground. And that’s because the reality contains a truth they know is inconvenient and not politically popular: Reza Pahlavi could not be a transitional leader of Iran unless the United States, in concert with Israel, installs him in that position, which would require — barring a miracle — the invasion of Iran and occupation of Iranian territory with hundreds of thousands of ground troops. And even that doesn’t guarantee their desired outcome.
Saeed Ghasseminejad@SGhasseminejad

The successful rescue of America pilots shows the regime’s ground forces are paper tiger too. The regime has no air defense and its ground forces are only good to kill unarmed protesters. They have no chance of standing against a real army.
