@jjbx7882709 Yup, exactly this. So now if you would be forced to use not only a sub player, but either a player from different region or from tier 2/3 in a LAN major... It's rubbing salt into injury imo. (Even tho visa issues are usually org's fault and they'e being bailed out)

I clearly remember R6 teams throwing a tantrum when told that coaches have to play as stand-ins. Rules got changed and it's now easier for teams to stay competitive - more crying. Fam, those teams are still at a disadvantage. Even with Noa or Hotandcol in the line-up 🫠

@xrwrId @daavidvia Well, you could, if they're available. I might be wrong but imo a mid player that's been part of the team for a long time and knows the system is better than a star player with 0 time to practice with others. Also - this kind of substitions happens quite a bit in CS afaik.

@xrwrId @daavidvia Very few teams have academies, nobody has money for that. Unfortunarely it ain't traditional sport with benches as long as the starting lineup.

@daavidvia Don’t these teams have back up players? I definitely think it’s unfair being able to just sub in one of the best players that couldn’t make it to slc
