Well done to our amazing KS2 singers at The Space Community Concert for Ely Arts Festival last night - it was out of this world!

Enjoying our wonderful new covered outdoor dining area today! A great new resource for the school for eating and an outdoor classroom - perfect in this hot weather! Thank you WSA, WOOSC and Maltby Construction!

Wilburton C of E Primary School has just achieved Platinum award status from OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning. This means that we are in the top 0.5% of UK schools for the quality of the play we provide for all our children!

Today we officially opened the memorial to animals killed in war at the allotment site - a beautiful memorial at a beautiful location!

We raised £135.69 on our charity walk for St Peter's Day today. This will be split between the children's chosen charities of EACH, Wood Green Animal Shelter and Toy Box. Well done and thank you everyone!

We are becoming a Tall Trees School! Schools across Cambridgeshire promoting all-through Forest School to Year 6. Year 1s today planted a silver birch 'tall' tree to mark the start of the programme.

Today is Rosa Parks day. Year 1 and 2 have been learning about her in History this term, and today and next week are sharing our learning and our thoughts on equality with the rest of the school. #RosaParks

@Newnham_College came today to plant a tree to celebrate 150 years and as a symbol of encouragement for pupils at Wilburton Primary to go on to become university students. Their student ambassadors also led an assembly about university to the school.

Just taken delivery of a beautiful mosaic created to remember animals killed or injured in war, following KS2 presentations to the parish council last year. Soon to be installed at the allotments.
