“Hernandez, who was picked up by police on March 10, is a  ‘serial criminal’ with a lengthy rap sheet of at least 15 charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and domestic violence, according to the Department of Homeland Security.” The illegal immigrant who killed Katie Abraham while drunk had also been pulled over previously for a DUI. Imagine if they had never been allowed in or if they had, at the minimum, be deported after the first offense… The pattern is clear: our elected officials refuse to hold illegal immigrants accountable to the law. Citizens pay the price.

She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice. She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her. You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly. And beyond that—you have never even responded to me. I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position. You never replied. And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day. Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen. This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability. The biggest joke in “major” sports HAS to be the first 2 rounds of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament… Through the first 48 games, this year’s average point differential per game is 22.25. Last year it was 23.75! Both years (NIL/transfers) are WAY above other recent years.

They gave a 33-2 Arizona team all they could handle. Anyone seriously think USU couldn’t upset a 2 seed? How do you build a program when it’s stacked against you to make it to the 2nd week?
