Had friends for coffee this morning and they were thrilled to see these three lovely insects flitting around the garden. I've noticed they are becoming very interested in wildlife these days which is a little to do with me always batting on about all creatures great and small😀

Just been watching a white tailed eagle glide around above our house in central Corfe Mullen. Quite high, but unmistakable. Watched for ages through bins. 1pm. Blimin brilliant! @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds @lynda_lambert

Last night, I had a brainwave around the post grief experience. This morning, I've thought more. Lots of things fizzle out when examined in daylight or seem userful only to me. This time? I might have something of use to others, too. Honestly, thrilled by the possibility.

Scrolling through the nature journaling Encounter app. Looking at the signs of spring already appearing. Worth a look. @encounternatureapp/post/DFtI670xD-B?xmt=AQGzl8NKoo1YEr53mGtAKDeSa_z1sYtCOnZdjFSxc60TRw" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">threads.net/@encounternatu

@nicolawriting So true. Why can’t we work together to grow in a sustainable way?😭

It's maddening! Reckless growth makes no sense - but we can grow in other ways that are just and sustainable and include nature as part of our community. We've had a long time to work on it. In every conversation and action, we must try. Photo credits getreading.co.uk

A song thrush & a mistle thrush singing above the snowdrops today; a sweet-sad carolling for dear Heather of @littleramstudio. Tears for someone I never met, but felt very much like a friend to so many of us on here; such was her warmth, vibrancy, creativity, humour & humanity x

Hurray! Some good news for bees at last. Our new government has followed the science, and refused the application by sugar beet farmers to use banned neonicotinoid pesticides.

📢Just in: UK Government to keep ban on bee-killing pesticide in place📢 For years, experts and over 300,000+ nature lovers have called for this ban to be maintained, but have been repeatedly disappointed. We are delighted with this latest decision🐝🌍
