@LowBoomLowDrift For the UR, it has a dual chamber drift reduction chamber, so it wouldn't fit within the double down adapter. It could be used in a stacked nozzle body configuration though for sure.

Sprayer nozzle idea. When a small droplet meets a big droplet in the air, they join and create a bigger droplet. So the idea would be to use big droplets like a fence to stop small droplets from drifting. Super big droplets with great canopy penetration on a 30 degree twin fan angled forward and back. Super fine droplets with great coverage pointing straight down. If the fine droplets start to drift, they will be absorbed by the big droplets in the twin fan drift fence. So 3 streams out of the same nozzle. 2 of them being big droplets on an angle forward and back . 1 of them being fine droplets straight down in the middle. Call it the drift fence nozzle or something like that.

@LowBoomLowDrift Probably guessing the accupulse or our DRs on dual tip? Often those are getting coarse enough they are getting outside of the realm of 'useful' in typical water rates (esp. for Western Canadian spraying), so unless you are 20-30GPA of water, you might find overall coverage low

@WilgerParts Hmmm. Here’s a question for you. What is the coarsest or largest droplet twin fan nozzle in the entire industry. Just had another idea that will make this work.

@LowBoomLowDrift With our stacked nozzle bodies, folks have sprayed with 3 nozzles straight down as well. (~1-2" between the patterns), but you'd have to be spraying very high volume rates to make decent nozzle sizes to work optimally (e.g. total vol. req of a '-10' minimum). Excellent coverage

@WilgerParts The double down is a y nozzle body adaptor to run 2 nozzles at once in a twin pattern correct? Would be slightly different from what I am talking about.

@LowBoomLowDrift but you might lose a fair bit of the benefit of the finer spray being entrenched, as soon as the really fine spray slows down ~6-8" out of the nozzle, it is borderline standstill when it hits the fence droplets. imo Might be better to keep fence angle straight down (2/2)

@LowBoomLowDrift Not exact to your concept, but ours has both nozzles spraying straight down. Spraying straight down will preserve as much of the spray velocity going towards the crop, so the extra oomph will also try entrench the small droplets straight down. Angled fence(s) should work (1/2)

With dark fertilizers It's nearly impossible to see the floating ball inside your Redball sight gauges. This makes electronic flow monitoring systems so vital. The Wilger EFM system spots partial blockages or complete plugs quickly, plus it is easy to install with your existing system. Check out the Wilger EFM system here: hubs.ly/Q03Wx_Kz0

@xerofarmer @CRToney2 It'd definitely be an improvement over the threaded style. No need to modify the tube, you'd snip the existing 3-pc thread end, install the flanged 3-pc end, and then use custom seal (it seals against the tubing). The rest is M100 flange and much heavier duty. Not too much effort

@TRaz13 The Wilger Tip Wizard apps (apple/android) have the double-down search built into it now as well. Good way to see the spray quality of the combo-nozzle setups with the pressure drop of the combined size. The website version of Tip Wizard has the BETA version at the moment too.

Patriot sprayer guys. What twin fan nozzle setup do you like? TTJ60-110-10 or Wilger 30 degree doubles with two SR110-06s? Aim Command Pro. Need better contact on Liberty and Fungicides. Currently using ER110-10.

@HesperFarmer @TRaz13 @Dustin_SD When it comes to the double-down vs. angled setup though, generally if I am spraying liberty at decent height and speed, as well as fungicide into canopy crops (as compared to vertical growing crops like cereals/headblight), I'd be using double-down setup instead of angled. /end

@HesperFarmer @TRaz13 @Dustin_SD (So, 74% 'coverage factor', less the 11% 'driftable fines', leaves the 'good stuff' in the middle). Compared to a double-down (not angled) SR110-06, which keeps coverage factor @ ~89%, with 9% driftable fines, leaving ~80% 'good stuff' for coverage. Over 25% more coverage.

@MYPrecisionAg Know what is more dependable than a swarm of 20 autonomous sprayers in the field during solar storms? (One really big one!!) I heard it'll come with free RTK+++ too #Spraying25

Due to the high number of solar storms expected this year we have decided to launch our MY Precision Ag Aerospace Division! During times of magnetic storms or low satellite counts due to satellite position our team will be up in space doing their part to combat the solar storms!

Checked your soybeans recently? Waterhemp & Palmer amaranth are appearing in new fields across Manitoba. The larger plants are easy to spot, especially as bean leaves turn yellow and fall off. Keep an eye out! Early detection is everything! #AgTwitter #MBAg #WestCdnAg
