@broker_ens Well said, I agree with your sentiments and outlook. Thanks for sticking around. Like you said the best we can hope for is a better trend for ETH overall so that the market sits in a favorable environment.

My ENS year This year wasn’t easy. I had big expectations, and I was far from achieving those goals. I tried to onboard some of the most important voices in the space. I spoke with people around them who were interested, but I didn’t manage to make it happen. Still, I don’t consider this year a big failure: 1. I helped companies, protocols, builders, and domainers acquire the domains they wanted (including 6-month private deals with zero fees for me, but meaningful for the ENS ecosystem). 2. My TVS (Total Value Sold) as a broker this year was over 100 ETH (46 sales). 3. I learned firsthand what the real problems and limitations are. Over the past three months, I didn’t close a single sale, which has been very hard for me. I had to dedicate time to other things, and ENS volume was extremely low. I believe this last thing was mainly due to: 1. Bearish sentiment around ETH 2. NFT volume being dead (and Vision being offline) 3. Web3 participants not seeing the value of ENS The first two points are timing and market issues. We know price action isn’t reflecting fundamentals, so ETH will come back, and those issues will resolve over time. Regarding the third point, as an industry we need to better understand what ENS needs in order to be successful, and what needs to be built to get there. I’ve shared a few ideas here (more info: x.com/broker_ens/sta…). But I’m certain about one thing: the internet will need a universal naming system, Ethereum will be the settlement layer, and ENS sits at the intersection of those ideas. I can’t see the future, and market timing isn’t my strength (I’m actually a very bad trader). But I do know that sooner or later, ENS will be successful — and I’ll be there. I hope 2026 will be the year. MEGA 🫡

People are capitulating and finally waking up to how random NFTs and Memecoins with no utility just aren't sustainable... Capital will soon start to flow into on-chain infrastructure with utility. This is EXTREMELY bullish for NFTs with REAL utility, like .eth ENS domains..🫡

@RuzhyoX @kwrr99 @Jrag0x "$100k/yr is pretty low starting salary in most developed parts of the world." - That's a starting salary that is possible in only a few number of countries in the world, let alone senior. I think you are biased. Maybe the US, Switzerland and Singapore? Some others as well.

Yes, a lot of early Ethereum core devs and researchers were underpaid. But a surprisingly high number of them did not really save any of their money in ETH. A simple belief in what they were building could have dwarfed their income.

🤖 GrailsAI Insight (beta): TL;DR: Ethmoji moved to a heavy emoji-focused collector, after a prior 18 ETH sale ~3 years ago, highlighting cyclical collector interest. The label is the woman‑juggling emoji and sits in the Emojis @EthmojiClub, so its audience is collectors who prize visual, single‑glyph identities. Emoji .eth names trade as a niche collectible class. Buyer 😡😡😡.eth is a serial accumulator. They hold ~301 names and have 409 buys, with a cluster of tiny mints in late September, showing active accumulation of emoji and numeric handles (example holding: 👁‍🗨👃👁‍🗨.eth). Seller degen.gun.eth is a high‑volume trader with many buys and sells and keeps a small core portfolio (aws.eth, gun.eth, blackrock420.eth). Notable on-chain context: this token saw a big 18 ETH sale ~3 years ago, then long dormancy. That history shows occasional spikes of strong demand for ethmoji, followed by quieter resale activity.

Imo 1. ENS Protocol is truly decentralized 2. ENS DAO has too much money and not enough ideas or guts to execute. It is not decentralized and is corrupted with interest groups, favoritism, ego and power hunger no more or less than any other decision making parliament, senate, council, etc in the world. "Idealism is okay if I'm in charge", BUT it doesn't matter bcs of - 1 ⬆️ 3. "renting" my ENS is okay, I don't intend to live forever, 5 bucks a year is fine, if you wanna be a hot-shot a flex 3 or 4 char, then be a hot-shot and pay for your flex. 4. ICANN is the prison guard of internet freedom 5. Any registrar ICANN compliant is a collaborationist in the suppression of the freedom of Internet and exploitation of users information for corporate greed driven by weak and greedy character. 5. IPFS, Brave, Tor, Onion, VPN, ENS - THIS IS THE GWEI I don't have to be right but this is what I think and deeply believe. NFA, DYOR

@BrantlyMillegan @furyan_eth Thanks for staying and shepherding ENS despite being antagonized and having no material needs dependent on being in this space. The Ethereum model survives on great actors with philosophical conviction rather than financial extraction motives. Both of you are much appreciated.

1. Yep 2. Not remotely true. I'm heavily involved in ENS DAO politics and I don't see what you're sayihng. If anything, the ENS DAO is doing too much and spending too much money. I don't know what you're talking about 3. Yep 4. It's not, it's an open community organization that manages the namesapce of the internet. anyone can participate in it. have you tried to participate and seen the things you're claiming? because i have participated, I didn't see this 5. lol no 6. I support these technologies, but the whole internet is not going to run on things like Tor
