Yes — Jesus was a Jew. No serious person disputes this. But if you want to apply modern geography to where He was crucified — the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Golgotha — that site is in East Jerusalem, which under international law is occupied Palestinian territory. Not modern-day Israel. And honestly? This whole debate is ridiculous. He is our Lord. He belongs to neither modern nation-state nor political narrative. Trying to claim Him as an Israeli or a Palestinian to score points in a modern conflict is an insult to his followers everywhere, and we should be ashamed to drag His name into our conflicts. Stop politicizing Jesus. He was above all of this.

@MahmoudAli5d @IhabHassane No, you are repeating a myth. Jews today absolutely DO descend from the ancient Hebrews, the Israelites, and the Jewish people from the 2nd Temple era. Ashkenazim, Mizrachim, Sefardi Jews, Ethiopian Jews - they all trace back to the Levant. End of story.

Both the Hebrew Scriptures & New Testament record that the righteous from the Northern Kingdom migrated to the Kingdom of Judah. The 10 tribes aren't lost. They're represented IN Judah.

@digijordan Yes, but what evidence do you have that we "descend into a system?" Or, that we "forget who we are?" Or, that Jesus wasn't who he, or his apostles, said he was?

Jesus wasn’t a savior…he was a guide. His role was to show people the way to enlightenment… You descend into the system Forget who you are Navigate challenges Wake up and return If you praise him as a savior, that’s giving away your own power. He showed people that THEY were powerful. That they didn’t need church or government. And that’s why he was killed. And obviously his teachings were twisted to fit a government-first agenda. The Pistis Sophia, Aprocryphon of John and Gospel of Thomas will give you a far better understanding of Jesus than the Bible. Gnosis is a word for ‘understanding the true nature of reality’. Jesus was a mystery school graduate that understood this better than anyone. He dedicated his life to helping people understand reality and transcend the indoctrination of belief systems / religion. It’s a shame what’s happened over the last 2000 years in his name.

#Jesus did not leave behind a vague movement. He chose His apostles & sent them to the nations. Jesus (Yeshua of Nazareth) therefore "approved" the New Testament. It is, in fact, the witness of men commissioned by #Christ.
