Monad testnet is live Primarily, this is just the beginning For most developers, this is the first time that they can interact with an extremely performant, cheap, decentralized EVM environment The start of Monad’s public testnet phase is a call to all developers to come experiment in a world where the EVM is fast and decentralized AND where all of the familiar tooling works out of the box This is the direction that the EVM needs to head in to reach escape velocity. We hope that the technologies showcased in the Monad testnet are a preview of what’s to come in the space, and that they give builders powerful tools to experiment freely and ship quickly That said, the public testnet also marks a huge milestone for the faithful Monad Community, which has been carrying the banner for Monad and its mission for over two years. We would be remiss to not celebrate the milestone on behalf of the entire Monad Community. Thank you for all of your support and we're so excited for what's to come. The effort and attention to detail put into the testnet launch by many Monad Ecosystem teams also rivals a mainnet launch. It is so exciting to see such amazing builders and apps showcased in the testnet, and is an auspicious sign for what's to come! We hope that the Monad Testnet period is a fun and energetic experience for developers and users alike - a time for everyone to experiment, learn new skills, or hack that idea together that’s been on the back burner.
