Replaced the power supply in this Canon V-10 MSX Home Computer with a new Meanwell PSU. The original PSU was working but was only 110v and had the cord leading out of the console. I stole a figure of 8 socket from an original xbox psu and mounted it at the back. It also now accepts 110-240v. #canon #msx

I've been working on something a bit different and I need help! I have finished fully restoring this machine i picked up locally. Unfortunately it doesn't boot due to a faulty EPROM which houses the game code. Does anyone out there have this machine and could help me with copying the eprom so I can burn onto a new eprom. Over 6 months ago, I purchased a "untested" Complete Treamcast bundle from eBay. Upon receiving it. It was obvious that the original TFT screen was broken due to showing coloured lines and bad contrast. So I scoured all the usual places, AliExpress etc, with no luck on sourcing an original panel. I finally found a new HD panel that matched the parameters I needed. It arrived, I lined it up, and epoxied it to the top frame. I then sourced a BitFunx DC to HDMI adaptor and a flat flex HDMI cable to connect it all up. This new panel combination will give me superior visual quality. I also removed the Brightness & Contrast wheels and installed switches which controlled the aspect ratio and signal type. I recapped the audio amplifier while I was in there as the Treamcast had built in audio with 2 small speakers. The original Treamcast PSU was custom made which was super cheaply made and needed to be put in the trash. I wired up a PicoPSU as it would just "drop-in" due to screw hole placement in the bottom casing. I added USB-C with a custom printed mount at the back. A GDEMU was added with a 3D printed mount which was remixed by me to hold a fan to keep things cool. Obviously a ressetable fuse and rechargeable clock battery were needed. Lastly, I replaced all the microswitches in the controllers as they were worn.

I recently acquired an Xbox Joule - prototype fitness watch. It has 4 contacts on the backside. Maybe for charging / USB connection. Other prototypes have been found but has anyone got the pinout for the 4 pins so I can power this thing up? #xbox #joule

Had a wrecked Galaxian board. Made this new set of PCBs along with @grandoldian. 85% of ICs were OK. It lives for another 40 years. 😁

Got a few NeoGeo MV1F boards in a job lot. Unfortunately they are battery damaged :( So I stripped 3 boards of all the chips and kept them safe for one day when they are needed

That's another 9 PS2 modchips added to thr collection. I wonder how many left I've gotta collect for a full set? 😅

Random job lot turned up today. Some of the more interesting finds. PS2 console with removed motherboard and a laptop motherboard inside. I assume old PS1 copies, but these aren't CD-R's, these are all pressed.
