@WillParchman I don’t think he would have pushed for a roster spot with the current CMs we have. Maybe if injuries piled up. But he was always gonna be an MLs lifer and sadly his injuries just ruined that for him.

MLS has always had (and still has) the opportunity to be the most open-source league in the U.S. Most players aren't recognized at their local grocery stores. That they've become the most cloistered, shut-off pro league in America is a gross, inexcusable failure in leadership.

@SportsSturm I have a conspiracy theory that the release of the doc knocked something loose in Jerry's mind about him being able to pull that trade off again. Release was 10 days before Micah was dealt. Up to that point, he was talking reconciliation. That changed... after the doc came out.
