@JSkolx01@itooo_1 They could likely make it but they have a much better chance with just Wemby(no Harper) than they do with just Harper(no wemby). I like Harper and think he will be amazing, but he's not at Wemby level (yet at least).
@JSkolx01@itooo_1 I'm talking in theoreticals, literally remove Harper and guess what would happen. Nothing would change in the regular season.
Remove Wemby from the regular reason, the spurs are trying to land Dybansta, Peterson, Boozer, or Wilson.
@JSkolx01@itooo_1 I don't think so man. Not at all. You can't just remove a DPOY and MVP finalist and act like this team would still make the playoffs. I refuse to believe it.
@Johnnyjet_@itooo_1 Does not mean he played better. He played better to their respective expectations. But Wemby still cleared Harper. Which shows how good Wemby is. I'm a Harper fan though, he's going to be terrific, but he's not passed Wemby.
@WillPickss@itooo_1 Because when it mattered Harper (rookie) elevated his game, Wemby shrunk when it counted, you don't want a Harden type regular season star
@itooo_1 I get Wemby played worst than Harper in comparison to their expectations. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. As overall as basketball players, Wemby played immensely better than Harper this series. Even by just using the eye test it was pretty obvious.
@itooo_1 Without Wemby they would've been a lottery team this regular season. Without Harper, they still would've made the playoffs.
What tf do yall people be talking about?
In what world is 18, 6.4, and 3. With 0.6 stocks better than 26, 11, and 2.6 with 4.6 stocks?
@theblockspot Paul was 36, miller was 34, ai was 26, harden and Russ are still playing. Wemby will be fine. None of these guys are a 7'5 22 year old DPOY & MVP Finalist. Wemby should be back multiple times following his trajectory
Chris Paul never got back.
Reggie Miller never got back.
Allen Iverson never got back.
James Harden never got back.
Russell Westbrook never got back.
Wemby might never get back.
