How did Arizona plan for Micah Parsons and a bruising Dallas pass-rush? The Cardinals broke off several long runs by anticipating and reacting to Parson’s initial step. Once he established his path to the QB, the blocker used his momentum against him to force him out of the play.

Shanahan vs. McVay Chess Match ♟️ First, we see stacked coverage up top into a Nickel Fire Zone to pressure Stafford. Then, the 49ers fake a similar scheme to confuse the Rams. Once McVay counters with quick routes over the middle, the Niners drop their LB’s to force a turnover.

Justin Fields tied the league lead for sacks last year at 55. After two weeks, he’s taken 10 sacks which would put him on track for 85 this season. His continued trend of indecisiveness, especially against zone, should make Bears fans concerned with his contract year looming.

Jordan Love had a promising debut. On this first play, he recognizes the zone and looks the defense off before returning to the center of the end zone. Then, he identifies a 1-1 matchup for his RB on the LB and delivers a bullet. Can’t wait to watch him ball out this season

Dan Campbell and the Lions were employing Aiden Hutchinson at the BUCK position last night. At times, they had him rushing the QB in a 3-4 but also dropped him back into coverage out of a 4-3. Awesome way to utilize the best athlete on the field and confuse an MVP quarterback.
