It really says something about the state of the world today that everyone's reaction to Jim Carrey looking weird was "he's been replaced by the Illuminati for speaking out" and not "oh hiring a quasi-lookalike seems like a bit Jim Carrey would do"

Ultimately, it’s not the best pick for anyone who loves the act of driving. But for anyone who can live without that in their luxury SUV, the GV80 is an excellent choice.
Power-wise, the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 is solid, making 375 hp and 391 lb-ft and delivering plenty of thrust. But it’s more luxury muscle car, in the spirit of an old Bentley, than sporty beast. It’ll dance, but it’s not its favorite thing to do.
The #Genesis#GV80 received a nice midlife refresh last year. It didn't really need much in the way of an update, but the car market never stands still.
From the outside, it's hard to tell the difference, but that's okay; it's a handsome SUV before or after the update. (1/
So, is the GV70 worth buying? Well, the base model starts at $46K, but you’ll miss out on many of the luxuries that make it look and feel so nice. It's $58K for the top-end 2.5 Sport Prestige, and $59K for the base 3.3 V6. I’d take the nicest 4-cylinder and drive away happy.
That wouldn’t be much of a problem in, say, a Lucid Air. But the GV70 EV has a real-world highway range of around 200 miles, so even 1 day of zipping around would have left me rearranging my plans to find a plug. It’s better suited to being a second car in a 2-car household.
I finally had the chance to drive the #Genesis GV70 this year. I'd heard good things and I had high hopes, and it lives up to the hype: it's an excellent luxury crossover.
(Also, sorry for the press pics; I didn't have a chance to take my own during my loan.)
