I was taking a walk yesterday & passed a Cadillac Dealership. They had a beautiful Ford Shelby GT 500 on display in the front of their dealership. Something changed in me… The snake logo… The lines… The styling… Something spoke to me… Maybe the Hellcat isn’t me destiny… APRIL FOOLS!!! Hellcat or ☠️ Let’s ride!!!

My April result across 2 prop funded accounts and 3 evals was an average of 1.35%. By no means by best month but it was tricky out there! Main thing is it was green, and nothing went pop.

Not sure this pump gets reversed so easily. Can see a bit more upside here in the next few days

I used to get myself into trouble thinking about why the market was doing what it was doing. I'm a daytrader, I don't care! I stalk price and way for confirmation either way and short or long accordingly. Creating a why also creates a bias.

Made a few changes to the CalmEdge app including ability to edit logged trades via pen tool @OptionalHellcat Can also add time and date so Ai can detect patterns as to when you're most likely to break your rules, and a calendar to see visually where you've adhered to rules and process.

Closing in on one year of battling leukemia. Most kids have monthly hospital visits at this point yet we still have to go weekly, things are going good but not good enough. Uphill battle but what else can we do? I feel so heartbroken not only for my son, but also for my other kids that are being dragged to all these appointments and having to accept restrictions on what we can or can’t do. Trading with a scarcity mindset just like I used to. If you’re a praying person, say one for me, I need it 🫶

@wannabechamp Taking a full stop! Neither ideal, but I would always choose making money over losing it. Analyse why we took early, try to modify behaviour next time

Agree on the bounce. But I think we inconceivably keep bouncing. I don't think this is "the bottom", but I don't think we've seen the top yet. I don't think earnings in the biggest growth companies will weaken enough, a weaker economy will offset inflationary pressure of oil. So I think we end up cutting rates with one more sugar rush. But, who knows. I'm certainly not wedded to the theory!

My newsfeed general consensus: $SPY a near term 2-4% bounce before the next leg drops down to $600-$610. Is everyone getting this too? Or what is your fintwit newsfeed feeding ya?

You'll never get good data if you aren't disciplined and follow a process. So you're totally right, but I think people don't even get far enough to meaningfully test whether they have edge or not. I think people are scared of finding out their strategy doesn't work, so throwing in the odd tilt is one way the brain avoids the pain of finding out. They just look at the good days and think it will work if they just sort of their discipline. And so the cycle continues.

“Every strategy works” is the dumbest thing traders say Sure, a super disciplined guy with 1,000s of hours of chart time might be able to get a slight profit with a bad strategy But he could make WAY better returns if he started by trading a strategy that actually has a good edge Some strategies are simply better than others

@CyclesFan One of their problems is the shifting sands around social media. It's not going to get the free ride it's had for the past decade in terms of regulation globally.

$META - As I posted last week the downside target for an intermediate term low is the yearly S1 pivot at 494 that is near the 2025 low at 480. Keep in mind that META is the cheapest big tech stock with a forward PE of 17.39 and a PEG ratio of 0.78. Fundamentally, it's a bargain.

@great_martis Dropping this level doesnʼt mean it goes to 70$, does it? One poss is the 200 day in confluence with a weekly trend dating back to 2022 bottom. Roughly 120$. Still a big correction!

@Mr_Derivatives I donʼt like Metaʼs prospects at all. Social media is the new smoking - at first it was cool, now itʼs being recognised as something that does real harm to individuals and society. I only see more global regulation and methods by which their growth is impeded from here long term
