Started a Roman campaign on Civ 6 yesterday and went a solid 5 hours, accomplishing absolutely nothing of note. My captured cities are rebelling bc they’re too close to Brazil, I will raze them to the ground and establish my military on the coasts to (hopefully) conquer Brazil

Took another run down Act One in Mewgenics to get some more Throbbing Domain completion marks, only one I have left for now is Mage
Had an exceptionally easy time with the Cleric, Hunter, Thief, Fighter build, think I may just trade the Thief out for the Mage and run it back

@WillasaurusRex8 Oi i hate those 0.5% increase upgrades in rpgs, like whats the point just dont bother at that point
Especially when theres like a 1000 upgrades to pick from(e33)

Finally got a D20 on Isaac Greed Mode after playing this game mode I don’t like way too much and losing 9.9/10 times, so it’s nice to finally get a game break
Finally unlocked The Lost on Steam last so the Greed mode grind will unfortunately have to begin in earnest again

@HazMattyGaming I definitely agree, I can’t see myself trying any “new” big series games at this point in my life, and I’m hard pressed to believe I’ll have the time for that in the near future either lmao

@WillasaurusRex8 I think the only way I can do those huge games is if it’s something I already have an emotional attachment to. Rebirth was a good example of that. Otherwise, I think it’s just way too big of an emotional investment for me nowadays.

I bet the gaming industry would explode if studios focused on 15-30 hour, well designed games with like a $30-$50 price point.
Millennials don’t have time/energy for the 60-100 hour games and the Gen Alpha kids probably won’t even think about those lol.

@JezalSun Best summed up as a deck based kingdom builder roguelike, you pick a king and get cards from his deck like troops, buildings, and buffs which you place on a grid, you then fight other kings armies and get to choose a card from their deck when you win, which offers good variety
