@emmyblaize64 gotcha well im still out of town so I'll have to wait till i get back before i can actually factory reset my laptop But i use opera gx and it syncs all the browser extensions etc, you think i need to turn it off to start off fresh after the factory reset ?

@WilliamHoops2 Nah in my case I just factory reset the PC install wallet guard and you'll be fine no need for other measures don't leave your wallet in pc it's dangerous

@emmyblaize64 what software did you use to check for malwares ? wallet guard ? I've never actually used wallet guard, checked their website and saw that they're sunset, can we still use it ? also what did you do after, quarantine and deleted the malware only or reset the whole pc ?

@emmyblaize64 got it, I've just done that, what about for laptop tho ? should i run antiviruses and then install and uninstall the MM extensions before creating a new wallet ? or what extra steps should i take to avoid the new wallet from being drained in the future possibly by the same thing

@WilliamHoops2 Turn off automatic downloads on telegram if you use one and no need to factory reset your phone just delete app download again that's all
