@juristr Agreed for the most part. When I don't have to manage the code it just needs to do its job. But bad src can also mean underlying architecture issues caused by a lack of systems thinking that may end up being so costly to fix they tank companies

Lots of devs laugh about the bad src code quality of Claude Code (now that we’ve seen it). We tend to care because fixing bugs is costly... but what if it becomes cheap? 🤔 Then what matters is product design and iteration/shipping speed.

ZELENSKYY to BBC: We went through difficult relations with Iran. We did nothing to them. They shot down our plane, killed our passengers and crew, didn’t admit it, and didn’t let experts in. Then the full-scale war started. They handed Shahed drones to Russians to kill our civilians. I asked them to stop. They promised there would be only one batch. They lied and kept supplying weapons. That’s why I consider them accomplices of Russia.

@BohuslavskaKate @benedetto_pe Oh well everyone makes mistakes in conflict situations, only America never disciplines it's military for murdering civilians. In fact murdering civilians and not even apologising appears to be US military doctrine

Welcome to hell. And this is after they had already cleared the remains of severed limbs from these smouldering ruins in Bucha -- what was left of a Russian column that tried to push through toward Irpin and got destroyed. Though they had forgotten to remove one torn-off leg of a Russian soldier, still in its boot, which gave some journalists a bit of a scare.

@victorsavkin @thdxr This is not true though. You have to look at what it's producing. If one isn't catching edge cases (often valid but super rare and not worth time investing in a fix if it weren't for AI) and the other is...

@thdxr The idea that more code is somehow inherently good is wrong. More code means more maintenance, more inconsistencies, more bugs. When choosing between two comparable tools, picking the one with fewer lines of code is a safer bet.

@themoontography @ZssBecker All these people arguing against you is insane. If you're a great engineer then Claude on the latest models will at least 5x your productivity. I just run 3 agents and move between reviewing their output.

Brother do you think shipping 10x more code == 10x more productivity? I’m saying I’m working 10x more productively, meaning I’m shipping 10x more features/revenue generating code per unit of time using these models than before. If you have systems and architecture background, have written production code for any reasonable amount of time (say >2 years) and actually learn how to use these tools, you’ll absolutely be 10x more productive. I have data to support it (and am building multiple businesses as a solo dev both in web2 and web3).

I vibe code every day. I have a team of 30+ engineers. We spend F tons of credits. And I will tell you this about AI from my experience. It’s being wildly over hyped. Everyone is drunk. Fucking drunk. All the CEOs and Gen Z’s saying coding is dead are idiots. IDIOTS.

Hogwarts houses but it's programming languages: Gryffindor: Rust mass (mass evangelists, mass bravery, mass mass rewriting things that already work) Ravenclaw: Haskell (nobody understands what they're doing, including them) Hufflepuff: Python (loyal, hardworking, pip install everything) Slytherin: JavaScript (will do anything to achieve its goals, has no morals, somehow runs the world)

Ukrainians are a nation of unbreakable people. Ukrainians have a unique will. Ukrainians are strong. Ukrainians are champions in spirit. Another proof of this is the performance of our national Paralympic team at the Winter Paralympic Games in Italy. Nineteen medals. That is an outstanding result. Today, I honored the champions and medalists of the 14th Winter Paralympic Games, 2026, as well as their coaches, with state awards. At these Games, our flag rose repeatedly, and Ukraine’s national anthem rang out in victory again – and all of this unites Ukrainians in two emotions: great pride and gratitude. To each and every one of you – the athletes, the coaches, the administrators, every member of our national team, and everyone who made this success possible – thank you.

Russias largest oil export terminal, Primorsk. has been blown up. It processes a million barrels a day. This will take forever to repair. Trump removed russian oil sanctions so Ukraine installed their own this morning.

In Milan, people gathered at Piazza della Scala to honor the victims of the Russian airstrike on the Mariupol Drama Theater. Four years ago, Russian forces carried out a deliberate bombing of the building, where over a thousand civilians were taking shelter, killing at least 600 people. In front of the entrance, the Russian word "ДЕТИ" ("children") had been painted in large letters, visible even from the air, to signal the presence of minors. Participants of the Souls of Mariupol flashmob lined up, forming a massive human inscription spelling the same message civilians had made in front of the theater in 2022. 📹: Boristene Associazione Culturale

12 year old Sasha Kuznetsov survived the bombing of #Mariupol drama theater but lost his mom there. He doesn't have a father or any other family, so #Russian attack left him an orphan. Nurse Elena who also stayed in the theater, decided to adopt Sasha. Listen to Sasha's story.

Last year, Zelenskyy warned Trump that war would reach US soil and that drone warfare would spread. He was told to shut up. Now, Shaheed drones are crashing into US air bases & crippling global oil. Everything Ukraine warned the world would happen came true

Wait for it -- private individuals from Hungary entered Ukraine through the regular border crossing with no official authority, no agreements, and no scheduled meetings with Ukrainian officials. In front of TV cameras at the checkpoint, they declared themselves an “official delegation” that had come to conduct “negotiations” with Ukraine and inspect the condition of the Druzhba oil pipeline. Tomorrow morning these private individuals will, quite predictably, not be allowed by security onto a strategic restricted facility. And Orban will start foaming at the mouth again, yelling that this is all because Zelensky is trying to drag Hungary into the war with Russia, that it was Zelensky who damaged the pipeline rather than Russian strikes on Ukraine, and that Zelensky is threatening his wife and children and planning to starve all Hungarians to death. Therefore, everyone must urgently vote for him on April 12, because only he can save Hungary from the horrors of using non-Russian oil and from Zelensky's armadas of death.
