The hardest part of recording video read alouds is having to choose from 3 terrible thumbnails for each video. Surely at SOME point in the video I looked better than the 3 options youtube gives me, haha!

Kindergarten is an amazing place. Like most kindergarteners, this student started school 8 months ago knowing some letters and sounds but no clue how to put them together in writing or reading. And now look at this growth demonstrated in her self-authored book! #iteachK

We’re on the last week of the third quarter, so I’m conferencing with each student this week to reflect on growth so far and make a goal for the end of our year!

Here is the release of The Lorax Part Two! We worked together as a class to write a sequel to The Lorax, picking up right where the story left off with the boy receiving the last truffala seed of all from the Once-ler. These kids are so proud of their work!
