Apologies for the lack of Hilltop photos! @X will not let us log in to this account from a new device. We will share all of the photos with you as soon as we are able.
They’ve been looking forward to it all week and it’s finally here: archery and axe throwing! A fantastic sunny day to end our time at Bushcraft, with some games thrown in too.
We can’t believe it’s Thursday already - what a week it’s been! Today we took part in a mock emergency scenario, practised navigation skills, cooked our own dinner and showcased our talents in Tribes Got Talent!
Happy Wednesday! On our third day at Bushcraft we looked at animal tracks, made paracord brackets, whittled tent pegs, did a Bushcraft challenge, ponassed salmon and decorated our tribe leaders!
Day 2 at Bushcraft was filled with fun! We started the day learning some wilderness first aid, created pottery animals, made traps (and caught some teachers) and learned about some common plants and trees in the woods. Lunch was also a highlight: pizza oven pizzas😍
First day at Bushcraft: fantastic! We’ve met our tribe leaders, played camouflage games, built shelters, cooked burgers on fires made us and already learned a lot about living in the woods! Stayed tuned for day 2 😀
Important notice:
The WSA colour run is no longer going ahead tomorrow due to flooding at the recreation ground and the lightning forecast. All participants should have received an email about the postponement and there will be further communication early next week. Sorry 😔
