The refinery got obsolete. It’s like if you say ‘ In 1990 my dad had a great wall Tv and it’s now not functional because we didn’t care for it ‘ It just got outdated. We should install a new one and guess what it costs? We consume 113k bpd a day so we talking $8B

I just learnt today that in the 80's Kenya had an oil refinery and its none functional because we didn't care for it. We used to buy crude oil and refine it ourselves.

@Nare_Energies we learnt this the hard way. For first time customers, we humbly ask for cheque maturity before delivery and installation. Bouncing cheques are a menace. To add insult to injury, we were penalised 6k by the bank for filing it🤦🏽‍♂️. We give exceptions though.

@StanleyMasinde_ There’s still a huge gap in Moi avenue business models(nimetuma client ongeza 2k yangu, or 3500 bro ya mwisho etc) that can’t be addressed by MS business central or Odoo. We simply need a Kenyan version of Bagisto (this is mature open source solution btw) or OSPOS.
