The existential goal of Carney et. al is to decimate our free market economy in order to replace it with a centralized economy. And all signs point to the reality that China will control that. Canada will effectively be a slave colony with no more middle-class; only the ruling class who possess all the wealth, and the State-dependent peasants. In order to do this, they need to convince the useful idiots that the inevitable economic ruin we experience is NOT their fault. They accomplish this goal, with the help of State-funded MSM, by propagating two narratives: 1) Donald Trump and America are to blame for literally everything. 2) Nothing is ever our fault, and we have no responsibility for either our ruin, or in taking actions to correct. Since Adam, sinful humanity is addicted to blaming others for their own sins and crimes, and promoting oneself as the righteous saviour. This narrative allows for both, which is why it is so potent. The reason there are no meaningful trade talks with the US is because Carney and the Liberals have zero intention of restoring our wealth, sovereignty, and prosperity as a nation. They only plan to steal it.
