Sexton is not a ‘coach’, he has no coaching experience whatsoever. He’s an ex player who’s only form of coaching is telling Jack and Sam how he did it, which is clear in their kicking setup and style. IRFU would be wise to bring in a real kicking coach ASAP… #IREvWAL

Lots of texts saying Jordan Larmour is signing with Connacht, we do need a back that can consistently score tries, we haven’t had one in years. But I’d say a stronger rumour in Galway is Ciarán Frawley has also been in talks with Connacht. We probably a ten more than a back.

URC Team of the Week from an Irish POV for Round 5 Usual craic. I watched all the games and its jersey vs jersey. A good few positions where nobody stood out this week.

Myself, and my husband @BarrettNatSocP attended the protest in Citywest, Dublin tonight. It would have been perfectly safe except for the fact that as we marched, Gardaí baton charged and pepper sprayed the crowd which included many women and children like my own. Myself and the children moved far back away from the Gardaí to avoid pepper spray. I was on route to our car to leave as a garda van went up in flames right beside us, provoking once again a violent response from an Garda síochana (the guardians of the peace.) Many patriots in the crowd escorted myself and the children to safety. We are safe and away from it now. I am proud of my fellow Irish men and women for taking a stand tonight. I am sickened by the response of the Gardaí, who have chosen to protect those intent upon raping our children.

One of the stranger Citywest streams last night were 2 British lads who admitted they flew over especially from London just to be there. They got repeatedly pepper sprayed as they also gave live updates on an arsenal match and pondered where the nearest McDonalds was.
